In early February, Tommy Riddle (the guy I bought the other '56 from) called me to tell me he had bought this '56 from a scrap dealer for $200 as it was being hauled to the scrap yard. What a save! Tommy then offered it to me for $200...what a cool thing to do...thanks Tommy!
This truck seems to have most of the stuff I need from the other (mainly a decent frame and dashboard), and the cab is straight too. I could drop the motor and trans. from the other one into this one and have it running in fairly short order.
As of right now, I need to move both trucks to a more convenient location for me to work on them...I am in the process of finding a house with a big enough area to have a shop where I can play with my toys...and am getting married in 3 weeks...and have a baby on the way...and am waiting on finding out if I can keep me teaching job and go full-time...and...
