SOLD 10/13/05
I purchased this at an estate sale in Columbus, MS. It is an extremely clean, unmolested survivor with only 9600 miles on the bike, and matching #'s. I believe I am the 4th owner. I have the original title from the original owner from 1975, where it was purchased new in New Hampshire. I also have a bill of sale from 1994, with an odometer statement of 8500 miles. The bike has less than 1200 miles on it since 1994. The previous owner had the bike in climate-controlled indoor storage since his purchase of the bike in 2002.
The bike is in exceptional shape for an original 30 year old motorcycle. It has one small ding on the front fender, and it has the turn signals. It has the original Amal carburetors, K&N filter, and Dunstall silencers. The threads in the housing for the right rear turn signal are stripped, but that is a cheap fix if one decides to keep the signals on the bike. I have the lens for it in excellent shape. I drained the gas, re-filled it, topped off the oil, put in a new battery, and she fired right up. She runs like a champ.
Bike is located in Starkville, Mississippi, 2.5 hrs. SE of Memphis, TN, 2 hrs W of Birmingham, AL, and 2 hrs N of Jackson, MS.
